Saito, Kikuo

Kikuo Saito (1939-2015) was a Japanese artist noted for his colorful abstract and expressionist paintings.

Saito moved to New York when he was young, and worked as a studio assisstant to many prominent New York artists during the 1970s and 1980s. He also worked as a set designer and theater director for many years. He was based in New York, New York until his death in 2016.
