BiographyGeorge Longfish is a modernist artist who was originally born in Ontario, Canada. He was raised both on an Iroqouis Reservation and in Chicago, and was trained at the Art Institute of Chicago. He then took on a teaching position at UC-Davis as a professor of Native American Studies. He now lives in Maine and still produces art.
