Not on viewThe etching revival began in France around the 1850s with many of the artists associated with the Barbizon school of landscape painters, including Charles-François Daubigny. Full Moon at Valmondois was one of Daubigny’s last etchings, reflecting his interest in rendering the impressionistic effects of light and shadows within a rural landscape.
