Not on viewThe rounded shapes of the linocuts Bather and Expulsion bring to mind the contemporary prints by the French-born sculptor and print artist Henri Gaudier-Breszka, who was a member of the London-based avant-garde group of English artists dubbed Vorticists. Brodzky had befriended Gaudier-Breszka during his first period of activity in England between 1912 and 1914, and had introduced him to the print technique of linocut.
