Joseph Belknap

Sarah and Joseph Belknap are Chicago-based interdisciplinary artists and educators. They received their MFAs from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and have been working as a team since 2008. In this work, playful colors and dynamic forms are juxtaposed with the sharp utterances of “BEND GASP PANIC.” This ironic dissonance may strike a chord with the UChicago undergrad throughout the arc of a quarter.
