Not on viewThe style and pose of this figurine are similar to other figurines from Tanagra, a famous manufacturing site whose products were widely exported and copied. In spite of its similarity to examples of Tanagra figurines from excavated contexts, the poor quality of the clay, the unusual articulation of the drapery, and figure’s sweet sentimentality prevent us from being certain that this figurine actually dates to antiquity.
