Not on viewExcept for the inscription at the bottom, the figure of St. Pantaleon is identical to a Male Saint in a standard catalogue of Renaissance bronzes, which suggests it could have been produced first as a generic figure and modified, according to specific needs, with the addition of the saint’s name. It was made to be attached to the arm of a crucifix or to another piece of sacred furniture.
