Roni Packer

BiographyHailing from Tel Aviv, Israel, Roni Packer now lives and works in Chicago. The suspension between her birthplace and her new home plays a key role in her work. Oscillating between grounded structures and floating canvases, she seeks orientation beyond her cultural roots through tracing the complex relation between painting, memory, and space. This work marks Packer’s first foray into printmaking, which she explored with the help of Spudnik Press Cooperative and the Chicago Artists Coalition.
